  1. Prepare 4 large Potatoes
  2. Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  3. Take 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  4. Get 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

  6. Take 2 tbsp Oil
Steps to make Aloo Sabzi:
  1. Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into thin, long pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a kadhai. Add the cumin seeds and asafoetida. Allow to crackle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the turmeric powder and mix quickly.
  4. Add the potatoes. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on medium heat till almost done, stirring once or twice in between.
  6. Take off the lid, add salt to taste. Cook uncovered for 2-3 mins.
  7. Serve hot with roti, parantha or dal-rice.
