The ingredients needed to make Easter Chowder:
  1. Take Leftover mashed potatoes
  2. Get Ham stock (boiled down from bone and drippings)
  3. Get Creamed corn
  4. Get Milk or cream
  5. Get Frozen or canned corn (drained)
  6. Get chopped leftover ham
  7. Prepare Onion, diced
  8. Take Seasonings to taste. Start with no salt as ham is salty.
Instructions to make Easter Chowder:
  1. Saute the onion in a little butter or oil until tender.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients in a pot.Stir well to combine and heat over medium to medium low heat. Stirring occasionally.
  3. Once chowder is heated through, taste and add seasoning to your liking. I added some garlic powder, onion powder, parsley & white pepper to mine.
  4. This could easily be put in a slow cooker and left on low all day as well.
