Ragda pattice is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. They are fine and they look wonderful. Ragda pattice is something that I’ve loved my whole life.

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have ragda pattice using 16 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Ragda pattice:
  1. Make ready big potatoes,
  2. Make ready -pods of garlic
  3. Take Small piece of ginger
  4. Get big whole bunch of coriander
  5. Make ready green chillies
  6. Take tamarind/imli
  7. Take khajoor deseeded
  8. Get red chilli powder
  9. Prepare zeera powder
  10. Take jaggery
  11. Prepare Salt
  12. Make ready Yellow sev to be used as topping
  13. Take finely cut onions
  14. Take of yellow peas
  15. Prepare Haldi powder
  16. Get oil to fry the potato patty
Steps to make Ragda pattice:
  1. Start by boiling the potatoes in the pressure cooker for 5 to 6 whistles
  2. Then for the green chutney blend coriander, green chillis, small piece of ginger and 8 pieces of garlic. Add tsp of zeera to it.
  3. For the imli chutney boil the imli with jaggery, desseded dates, red chilli powder and zeera powder and salt according to taste.
  4. Potatoes which have been pressure cooked and cooled add to them haldi powder, zeera powder and salt. Then take a pan add to it oil and shallow fry the potato patty both the sides. Light brown. Be very careful when you turn the patty to fry.
  5. Meanwhile in the pressure cooker boil the yellow peas with haldi and salt. At least 8 to 9 whistles. Consistency of the peas should be soft. Add 1 cup of water to make it a dal like consistency.
  6. So now the dal is cooked, potatoes mixture is ready. Green chutney and imli chutney is ready.

  8. When you serve,e layer first with the peas on it you have to place the potato patty sprinkle some fine cut coriander, onion, spoonful of green chutney and spoonful of tamarind chutney. You can suit to add the chutnies more or less according to your preference. Top this with fine yellow sev.
